GMO is an organism whose genetic material has been altered. In other words they are things that are not naturally. They have been taking plant genes and make their own plants out of the genes that they have gotten. Monsanto is the company that makes this happen.
In my personal opinion I don't think that they should be making plants this way. I think this because it isn't natural and it can be bad for nature. If there isn's anything natural anymore, not even plants, then nothing will ever be.

Assignment #24 Typing
I haven't taken any classes for typing but when I type essays I try to type faster and type without looking at the keyboard. It is still a little difficult to do that I have gotten better at it.
There are some websites where they help people learn how to improve their typing skills. One website is called typing test. It gives you timers and it tells what you did wrong and how to improve on it. It has other things you can do on the website too.

Assignment #31 Free Choice
I am going to write about the tattoo that I want to get and will eventually get. I want to get an anchor on my thumb. I know a lot of people will ask why I am getting and if I know what it means. The anchor tattoos have three different meanings. One being the most common which is representing a sailor.
The anchor tattoo to some people means that they once had something to do with the sea or things of that matter. It has meaning to the sea because a lot of sailors used these a lot when they went off to sea. It is easy to tell if that is what the tattoo represents because of the way it is drawn out. Most people with the sea meaning to this have ropes around them.
The second meaning that this tattoo has, is religion. It is said that in history when christianity was forbidden some people used the symbol of the anchor to secretly represent themselves. They used the anchor because of the hidden cross that it has. This was often used when the christians would escape from persecuting greeks.
The last meaning that this tattoo has, is stabilization. The anchor to many people means strong foundation or that they have to a point in their lives were they have settled down. Assignment #20- Free Choice
Im going to write about my favorite music. There is two kinds of music that I really enjoy listening to. Theres alternative rock and reggae. There one specific band that I really like right now. They're called The Dirty Heads. They're a reggae band. When I first heard them I was really into sublime.One time I hung out with my older cousin (who is more of a brother to me) and his girlfriend. They noticed that I was listening to sublime and they were surprised I was into their kind of music. That day they played The Dirty Heads while they were driving. The first song was "Dance all Night". When I heard it I immediately liked it. More and more of their music came up and I knew that their music was going to be my absolute favorite.
One of my favorite songs right now is one called "Chelsea". This song hasn't been performed by them at any of the concerts. At first me and my cousin questioned, why would they write such a good song and not share it live with the rest of the world. We both came to notice that , that song is a personal song. I would like to find out why the song was made and who it is about. This song is very beautiful.

there are ten reasons to why people start smoking ciggerates. these are the reasons,

8. risk-taking behavior: most people are restricted from smoking and risk taking is exhilarating
7. parental influence: most teens and children are more likely to smoke if their parents do so
6. misinformation: some people are missed informed of what tabaco can do to someone
5. predisposition: some say that the cause to smoking may be passed on genetically
4. advertising: research has suggested that advertisments can cause people to start smoking

I personally dont think smoking cigarettes is a good thing but I don't judge people for doing so. If a person chooses to do so then thats on them. assignment#25 popular culture (dexter)
There is currently a television show that is a bit popular. It is one of my favorite shows and it is very interesting. It is currently on tv but I watch it at my sisters house because her husband bought the seasons. The show is called Dexter.
This series is about a man named Dexter Jackson. By day he is a criminal investigator and by night he is a serial killer. He isn't evil though. He murders murderers. When he receives a case of a homicide and things of that matter he does his job and finds who the murder is, instead of letting his boss know and putting the criminal in jail he takes matters into his own hands. He investigates on what the criminal does and when he can catch him. Once he does he sleeps them with a drug, undresses them and tapes them completely to a table (he covers them with the tape so no inappropriate body parts are seen). When the murder wakes up Dexter speaks to them and makes them feel bad for what they have done. Once the murder shows a bit sign of sympathy (which rarely occurs) he cuts their neck and lets them bleed out. He then chops them into parts and throws the body away. For some reason before he kills them he always makes a small cut on there right cheek.
Dexter has a wife and three kids. The two oldest kids are of his wife and her previous marriage and the baby boy is his and his wife's. He is a crime seen investigator and works along side with his sister. No one knows of his second life as a killer. The reason he kills the murders is because he believes it gives better justice. When he was a baby he witnessed his mother get killed brutally. That traumatizing part of his life has caused him to do what he does. Sometimes his father comes to his thoughts and they have conversations. When he pictures his father he seems to remember things more. His father is dead. Im not sure yet how his father died. assignment 13-my favorite
There is varies types of music that I enjoy listening to but there is one band that I just love. The Dirty Heads. This band is a reggae band, they have such nice songs and they are great singers. The singers are Duddy B and Dirty Jay, the rest of the band is Jon , Matt, and David. They are the ones on the instruments.
I heard them through my cousin eddie. I started listening to sublime and when I told him he told me that I would love the dirty heads. He was right. To me their music is awesome. Almost all of their songs are my favorite but if I had to choose one it would be "Chelsea". The song Chelsea is a beautiful song and I believe it has a personal meaning to the band. They have never sang it at any concerts but I think they should. That song is so beautiful and it would be awesome to hear them sing it live.
They are on tour and will soon be coming to costa mesa. They will be performing near the OC fair in july.

Assignment #26 Critical Film Review (The Great Gatsby)
The Great Gatsby is a story being told by a young man. Its based on a book. I think it was a really good movie, it was beautiful.
The typed story used for this movie was perfectly chosen. It was a great mixture of love, suspense and betrayal. The love story was very heart touching and beautiful because of the way the man was very in love with the lady and would do anything to be with her. He truly showed how she would get him shy and just how he was head over heals for her.
Based on the timeline used the scenery used was excellently picked. The year takes place in New York during the summer of 1922. The way they incorporated the style and the way of living during that time was perfectly shown in the movie. They dressed their actors appropriately relating to the time and the way of living as well. They had chosen a specific song for plenty of the scenes and it was perfectly placed. The song was put right on time. It is a love song that specifically made for the movie and they new just the right moment to put it in order to bring more meaning to the scene.
The actors chosen for the main characters were also chosen right. The actors acted really good for the type of role they got. They were serious and when it came to the sentimental parts they truly new how to express it. The way the actors look also went with the type of character they were meant to be. For example Leonardo DiCaprio has the perfect look for the serious role and he also new how to show his sentimental side without making it seem fake.
All through out, the movie was very good. They kept the story realistic with no unreal ending and easy to understand. I would recommend people to go watch it weather with a friend, alone, or their special someone. It is heart warming to anyone and also includes some interesting suspense. I give this movie a thumbs up for such great work.

Assignment #19 Being Charitable
The Project Ultrasound charity is a charity in which they raise money to help get local clinics ultrasound machines to save lives. The founders of this charity have come to notice that 70-90% of abortion-minded women choose to keep their babies after getting an ultrasound.
I chose this charity because it has a personal meaning to me. It is true that most women can change their minds by looking at a simple ultrasound picture of their unborn child. I can say this because my mother has gone through this. When she was younger she got pregnant and was told that the baby had a defect. Where she is from the clinics weren't as advanced as they are now. She was unable to see what her baby was like to even know whether she was being lied to or not. My mom went through this three times. Both times she felt she had no other choice but to get an abortion of who could have been my older sister and brother. She never got to see them and till this day it kills her. The third time they told her that the same situation occurred she decided to keep the child; and so today 16 years later here I am.
I think it would be great for more clinics to have ultrasound machines to get to see their children before they take their innocent lives from them. If it is capable of showing future mothers that they are caring inside of them I believe that they will change their minds. I want to help give people a second thought of what they are doing before its to late. I want them to see what they are giving up because not everyone gets a chance to do so.Please help the anti-abortion charity and help save a life by letting the future mothers open their eyes.

Assignment #15-My Dream Job
I wasn't always sure what career I wanted to per sue in. At first I wanted to be a teacher but then I wanted to a high school counselor and in the end I told myself I would be a psychologist. As days go by I learn more of different careers and would work well with me. I am a true artist, all I enjoy doing is art , but unfortunately it isn't aways getting a stable job that way.
Aside from being an artist I have recently come to notice that I enjoy helping people. I enjoy helping people but I also enjoy time to myself. I'm no exactly sure yet if I have a dream job but I do have an idea of what I would like to do.
I have decided to be an ultra sound technician. I'm pretty sure that this career choice is right for me and that I will enjoy working in this a lot. I still sometimes think of just being a physiologist but yet again I have my doubts.
For now I don't think I have dream job but I do have an idea of what I would enjoy doing and that is to become an ultra sound technician. I would enjoy doing this because I would like to help people find out what there is inside them, whether it's finding out if you are having a baby boy or a baby girl or even if you might have some sort of tumor that needs to be checked in order to keep it from getting worse. An ultra sound technician works on helping people get a visual sight of what is inside them. It can help save a life by finding out if there is something dangerous inside them before its to late. Working on this doesn't always have bad news. When working in this career it can also give a chance to let an expecting mother find out what she has been caring in her tummy for 5 months.
I would really enjoy this job because I want to help people know and help them find out what they have inside them where they can't see on their own.

Assignment #17- Stranded
If I could have only three things while being in a deserted island I would have food(including water) , blankets, and my drawing book. I think those three things are pretty good things to take. They would help with the main important things are needed at a daily life.
I would take food(including water) because food is important to have around and water is very important to have in order to stay alive. I would take blankets to keep me warm during the night. Keeping warm is also important because if I stay cold for to long I could get sick.
Finally I would take my drawing book. I would take that because if im going to be stranded, there wouldn't be many things to do. I would eventually get bored but if i had my drawing book I would have something to do.

#16 expertise blog
There are many things that I am not good at but there is one thing that I know for sure that I'm good at and enjoy to do, photography. I know I'm not the best at it but I'm not the worst. I love taking pictures of different things and places. My favorite place to take pictures at is the beach. I discover different things every time I go. I discover beautiful things that need to be saved and so I save them through pictures.
Photography is a great way to express your feelings and show your creative side. Some people don't agree that photography is a form of art but I believe it is. To me It's a nice hobby and a good way to relieve myself. It helps me relieve myself because I can express myself through my pictures.
To some people photography is just a random picture with a bunch of editing but It's not that. Photography is pictures of beautiful natural things. Sometimes I use editing but that is I want to create an allusion. Allusions in picture's aren't always easy to create but it takes skills and thats what I have for pictures.

Assignment #18 Bucket List
I have always thought of what I should do before I die. So far there are five things that I would like to do. These are the things I would like to do.
1. Make cards that have compliments on it and hand them to random people.
I want to make as much cards as the age that I am (ex. 16 years old=16 cards) and I want to walk to random places and hand them out to strangers so I can make their day.
2.Travel to different places.
I want to travel to somewhere I've gone too and meet new people and their cultures.
3.Go skydiving.
I have always wanted to skydive and I would love to do that before I die.
4.Ride on a hot air balloon.
Aside from skydiving I think riding on a hot air balloon would be very fun.
5.Live in Hawaii fora month.
I would really enjoy to live somewhere different from where I do now and see new things.
